LeonEd holds information about children. We treat it with the highest level of care, and only ever use it to support their education.
01 Our Commitments
- We never sell student data.
- We never use student data for advertising or to build marketing profiles.
- We use student data only to provide educational and school management services.
- The school stays in control of its students' data and owns it.
- We protect student data with encryption, access controls and audit logs.
02 Who Controls Student Data
The school decides what student information is entered into LeonEd and who can see it. LeonEd processes that information on the school's behalf, as described in our Data Processing Agreement.
03 What Information Is Held
Depending on how the school uses LeonEd, this may include:
- Name, class, admission details and basic demographic information.
- Attendance and behavioural records.
- Scores, results, report cards and transcripts.
- Fee status (visible to the student's linked parents or guardians).
- Linked parent or guardian contact details.
04 Who Can See It

05 Rights of Parents & Students
Parents, guardians and students can ask to see, correct or delete personal information, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other applicable law. Because the school controls student records, please contact the school first. We will help the school respond.
06 Retention & Deletion
Student records are kept for as long as the school uses LeonEd. If the school's subscription ends, it has 30 days to export its records, after which they are permanently deleted from our primary clusters.
