01 Purpose & Scope
This policy applies to everyone who accesses LeonEd, including school owners, administrators, staff, parents, guardians and students. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
02 Permitted Use
LeonEd may be used only for legitimate school management and educational purposes, such as managing records, processing results, tracking attendance and fees, and communicating within the school community.
03 Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Access, or try to access, data or portals you are not authorized to use.
- Share your login details or use another person's account.
- Alter results, attendance or fee records without authority.
- Upload content that is unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, sexually explicit or harmful to children.
- Use messaging features to send spam, harassment or misleading information.
- Introduce malware, or attempt to probe, scan or disrupt the platform's security or performance.
- Scrape, copy or export data except through features provided for that purpose.
- Use LeonEd for any commercial purpose unrelated to running the school.
04 Handling Student Data
Staff with access to student information must use it only for their school duties, keep it confidential, and follow our Student Data Policy.
05 Account Security
- Keep your password private and use one you don't use elsewhere.
- Sign out on shared or public devices.
- Tell your school administrator immediately if you suspect someone has accessed your account.
06 Enforcement
We or your school may suspend or remove access for anyone who breaches this policy. Serious breaches may be reported to the relevant authorities.
07 Reporting Misuse
If you see something that breaks this policy, tell your school administrator or email admin@leoned.ng.
